I used less meat (about a pound and a half) and a mix of pork, veal and beef. Other than that, followed the recipe and it turned out amazing! Will definitely make this again.
Consider halving the recipe…makes a ton. Also think about using an egg to bind meatballs as they fall apart during cooking.
